Shannon Hartkemeyer took an oath to serve Fairfield Township. She has worked hard to improve our township. 

Fairfield Township is at a crossroads. As one of the largest townships in the state of Ohio, collaborative, big picture thinking is required. We have built a firm foundation and made many improvements. We’ve modernized and updated operations. We must keep moving forward!

Her objectives for the next four years include:

• Strengthen our financial position to safeguard our future. Townships are facing unprecedented challenges. Experienced, steady leadership is required to guide the township.
• Continue to streamline internal processes to provide excellent services to our community. This includes providing resources to fire, police, public works, zoning and administration staff so they can continue to serve the community. 
• Promote appropriate economic development as a means to generate revenue and improve our community.
• Encourage community development by continuing to make our township a great place to live, work and play. Our remodeled parks, shopping, dining and community activities appeal to residents and visitors.
